Netflix To Create A Digital Comedy Festival By Releasing 47 Specials At Once   Since launching its first comedy special in 2013, Netflix has made huge inroads into the world of laughs. To date, it has released more than 150 specials from funnypeople around the globe, including comedians who hail from Brazil, Korea, Germany, Italy, and Argentina. It has experimented with multiple comedy formats, including some specials as short as 15 minutes and some that run for over an hour. The Valleyfolk, SourceFed's Spiritual Successor, Launches Variety Series Titled Your Show Six months after launching a new venture called The Valleyfolk, four former cast members of the bygone news channel SourceFed are cooking up a new series tailored to the tastes of their viewers. YouTube Rolling Out 'Copyright Match' Tool To Creators With More Than 100,000 Subs   In May, YouTube shared that it was testing a feature called Copyright Match — an abbreviated version of its Content ID tool, which can detect identical video reuploads and then enable rights holders to take certain actions. YouTube Channel JustKiddingFilms Enters Gaming Space With Tabletop Title 'Shady Agents'   Through comedy sketches, vlogs, and other forms of social commentary, the YouTube channel JustKiddingFilms and its offshoot JustKiddingParty have each reached more than one million subscribers. Twitter Users To Lose Tens Of Millions Of Followers After Company Excludes 'Locked' Accounts   Influencers, brace yourselves: Twitter will no longer be counting 'locked' accounts — or those that the company has shuttered upon detecting suspicious changes — toward total followers. The New York Times reports that the change will account for tens of millions of lost followers, or 6% of Twitter's total user base. Facebook To Launch News Programming On July 16, Will Organize 'Watch' With New Categories   Last month, Facebook said it would fund a slate of news programming from the likes of CNN, Fox, and ABC to the tune of tens of millions of dollars.
