The House is expected to vote Thursday on a resolution broadly condemning hate in the wake of freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) speaking critically of Israel.
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) announced at a closed-door whip meeting that the resolution would come up later in the day. Legislative text is expected to be released later Thursday morning.
Hoyer confirmed that the resolution would not specifically name Omar.
