| | View in your browser | | | | | Sessions: Trump rescinding 'Dreamers' program | Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Tuesday that the Trump administration will end an Obama-era program allowing young people who came to the country illegally as children to live here free from fear of deportation will end in six months.
The decision, which leaked out over the weekend, means the Trump administration is kicking the can on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program to Congress, giving lawmakers six months to come up with a legislative solution.
