Nadler reaches deal with Justice on Mueller documents on eve of contempt vote
The head of the House Judiciary Committee on Monday announced that his panel had reached an agreement with the Department of Justice to obtain key underlying evidence in the Mueller report, raising questions about a planned contempt vote against Attorney General William Barr.

Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said in a statement he will “hold the criminal contempt process in abeyance for now” amid the DOJ’s cooperation, noting that lawmakers will be able to begin reviewing the first of these documents later Monday.
