| | View in your browser | | | | | Pelosi signals openness to new border ‘infrastructure’ | Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that while Democrats are adamantly opposed to extending the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, they're open to new fencing and other barriers as part of ongoing talks to prevent another government shutdown.
“There's not going to be any wall money in the legislation,” Pelosi said during her weekly press briefing in the Capitol.
