Senators are set to start a marathon question and answer session on Wednesday as President Trump’s impeachment trial goes into the next phase.
The Senate convenes at 1 p.m., and is expected to use eight hours, not including breaks, to ask and answer questions.
Because senators are not allowed to talk, their questions are being submitted in writing to Chief Justice Roberts, who will read them out loud and identify who they are from.
