Google was dethroned as the world’s most popular website in 2021. Social media platform TikTok took the No. 1 spot as the most popular website in 2021, jumping six spots from No. 7 in 2020. In September, TikTok hit a new record, reporting 1 billion monthly active users.

Antarctic oceanographers use seals to conduct research in areas unreachable by humans

Antarctic oceanographers are using seals to study continental shelves, which are virtually impossible to reach by boat because layers of ice are attached to the shoreline. Researchers in recent years have outfitted animals like seals, which have far less trouble navigating frozen waters, with data logging equipment to record conductivity, temperature and depth (CTD).

The pope gives secret for a happy marriage in just three words
