Famed scientist Jane Goodall warns against charitable Christmas gifts

Pioneering scientist and conservationist Jane Goodall has joined a number of others in warning against gifting animals like goats or cows this holiday season to people in developing countries. Goodall says these gifts can do more harm than good because an influx of live animals can put pressure on an already-strained water supply.

Trump admits he suddenly finds it 'very tough' to slam Biden after surprising vaccine comments

Former President Trump said Tuesday it was tough to be “overly critical” of President Biden after the current president praised the Trump administration for its COVID-19 vaccine rollout. The 45th president said that he believes Biden’s remarks “were a terrific thing” that will “make a lot of people happy.”

When and how you should get tested if exposed to omicron

Omicron is spreading rapidly, and many people are reporting mild symptoms. Rapid antigen tests are good for assessing whether someone is contagious, while PCR tests are necessary after a known exposure. Vaccinated people should get PCR tested five to seven days after a known exposure.
