Preserving Biodiversity

Federal wildlife officials recently announced that 22 animals should be declared extinct and removed from the endangered species list. This disturbing development comes as millions of species continue to be threatened by human activities and climate change. And it offers a sneak peek into what the future might hold for our nation’s precious biodiversity - if no action is taken.

Join Changing America as we speak with experts and advocates to examine the state of the American conservation movement and what the future holds for endangered animals

Speakers:

  • John Johnson Sr., President, Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians
  • Tierra Curry, Senior Scientist, Center for Biological Diversity

  • Ben Masters, Filmmaker
