Heart disease is the leading cause of death for Americans, claiming more lives than all types of cancer combined.
Even younger Americans are increasingly affected by cardiovascular disease. A new study from the American Heart Association revealed that over the past decade, deaths from severe first heart attacks among adults under the age of 54 have risen by more than 50%.
Join The Hill and The Partnership to Advance Cardiovascular Health (PACH) for a policy summit with cardiologists, patients, heart advocates, and lawmakers to discuss how coordinated advocacy efforts can catch heart disease earlier and more often and stave off more of these preventable deaths. |
