Federal judge allows Trump asylum restrictions to continue
A federal judge Wednesday ruled that he would not halt an effort by the Trump administration to restrict Central American migrants’ ability to apply for asylum in the U.S.

The order from U.S. District Judge Timothy J. Kelly of the District of Columbia came in response to a lawsuit filed by Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition and the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES), two immigration advocacy groups.
