655,000 customers face power outages |
As of Monday afternoon, more than 655,000 power customers were without power after the winter storm, according to PowerOutage.com. |

Most of the power outages were in the U.S. South after Winter Storm Fern. Tennessee had the highest number of outages, nearly 215,000 customers. Mississippi had the most outages per capita, with a 10 outage rate on Monday afternoon. Louisiana was third-largest, with 111,000 outages. At least 21 deaths have been reported from the storm, according to The New York Times. |
