After announcing the third book in his Children Of Eden trilogy, Joey Graceffa has revealed that his YouTube murder mystery series — which will air exclusively on the video giant's newly-revamped Premium subscription service — is also coming back for a third outing.
The Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle drew a healthy audience on the world's top video site. YouTube's live stream of the much-ballyhooed union reportedly drew 11.2 million total viewers. At its peak, 1.29 million people watched it concurrently.
A feature that has been available on YouTube's mobile apps now appears to be on its way to the desktop version of the video site. The feature in question is YouTube's in-app messaging client, which lets users share videos and chat with one another.
Given that social media creators are bound to balk when chronological feeds are filtered through an algorithm — on top of longstanding concerns that YouTube creators have had with the subscription feed feature over the years — the video giant has earned the ire of several top stars after announcing a controversial test.
2018 has not been Vevo's best year, and the music video network has now delivered more bad news. It has announced its plan to shut down its website and its mobile apps, a move that will allow it to focus more of its resources on its partnership with YouTube.
