Thursday, September 30

From September 15 to October 15 each year, the United States celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month, a dedicated time to honor the cultures and contributions of Hispanic Americans. The Hispanic American population has increased 70 percent since 2000, making it the second-largest racial or ethnic group in the country. As Hispanic Americans have grown in population and influence, they have played a large and growing role in the culture and politics of our nation.

Changing America invites you to join us today for a special virtual event celebrating the accomplishments of Hispanic Americans and tackling the issues most vital to the community

Speakers:

Victoria Ballesteros, Chief Communications Officer, National Immigration Law Center

Mónica Ramírez, Founder & President, Justice for Migrant Women
