Senior lawmakers are increasingly demanding that military and other government officials provide them with information about intelligence on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) or unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). The demands reflect frustrations on the part of some lawmakers that they are being kept in the dark about what's known about UFOs and UAPs. |

A number of politicians are stoking speculation that they could make late entries into the 2024 presidential race ahead of what's shaping up to be a potential rematch between President Biden and former President Trump. Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) became the latest figure to raise questions about a White House bid after he released a cryptic video this week that prompted murmurs about a possible third-party campaign. Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) has sparked similar questions for the past few months and in recent days. |

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) on Saturday argued that in order for another GOP candidate to win in 2024, they have to be willing to criticize the current frontrunner: former President Trump. "This can't be our candidate, because it ain't gonna win in November," Sununu said in an interview with Fox News' Neil Cavuto, later adding "That reality is really coming to bear… All of these candidates have to start hitting this guy. You can't run against somebody and be 20 points down but not be willing to talk about him." |

Former Vice President Mike Pence said on Friday that he's "not interested in trading insults" with former President Trump after a voter at a meet-and-greet in New Hampshire pushed him to "stand up" to his onetime boss. "Some people think we did a fair amount of standing up two and a half years ago," Pence argued, according to ABC News, in an apparent reference to his decision to certify the 2020 election on Jan. 6, 2021, in the face of pressure from Trump. |

Democrats are no longer trying to ignore Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and have taken to calling him out in public after a week of controversies. Former Attorney General Eric Holder said the Justice Department's investigation into former President Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election started too slowly, but that the department is now "back on track." "The Justice Department was a little late in ramping up its investigation, its inquiry with regards to those people at the top of this whole conspiracy," he said in an MSNBC interview on Saturday. "They've done and continue to do a great job with the foot soldiers who were there on Jan. 6th." |

Children used to get regular PSA-style lessons from pop culture characters they related to, learning about everything from avoiding drugs to recycling. But these days, it's like the Power Rangers don't even care. Significant shifts in popular culture and how kids consume media have caused such national campaigns to dwindle. |
