It's a heavy Monday for Americans as the country marks the 22nd anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. And the House returns from August recess this week. Here's what's going on today: - Memorial ceremonies are happening across the country to honor 9/11 victims. President Biden will deliver remarks in Alaska, and Vice President Harris is in New York for the memorial.
