🦍 A Special Message from our Co-Founder

Hey Troop, it's Damion here—co-founder of 800 Pound Gorilla—and we have some pretty cool news to share. We're making a big leap and diving into the world of scripted comedy!

Our first series, Greg In LA, is on its way TODAY at 12PM CST, and if you've been keeping an eye on our socials, you might have already seen some sneak peeks.

Now, you might be thinking, "Wait, isn't 800 Pound Gorilla all about stand-up? What's with the scripted series?" Fair questions... If there's one thing we love, it's taking on new challenges. We thought, "If Netflix can do it, how hard can it be?" (Spoiler alert: it's pretty hard, turns out Netflix is really good at what they do)…

But here's why we're all in: we've spent years working with some of the funniest minds in the business, and they've got stories that go way beyond the stage. Greg In LA is our first shot, and it's quirky, heartfelt, and—most importantly—hilarious. Created by Gregory Lay and Sean Cunningham, the series was already something special, but they brought us on board to help produce this season and include some comedians into the show as well. We hope you love it as much as we do.
