Some might say that as soon as you're splitting hairs about which word most precisely describes a given sex criminal, you have lost the plot. Megyn Kelly would not say that. The Fox News stalwart turned blockbuster SiriusXM and YouTube host made waves Wednesday, after saying on her show that while convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein preyed upon and trafficked "the barely-legal type" of girl, "he wasn't into, like, eight-year-olds." As expected, she's used her airtime to paint herself as both an advocate for Epstein's victims and a defender of Donald Trump, whom Kelly seems to believe is innocent of any and all wrongdoing where Epstein is concerned. (Trump also insists he's innocent of any and all wrongdoing where Epstein is concerned, which must be why the government is still sitting on the bulk of the so-called Epstein files.)
