The head of the House Judiciary Committee on Monday issued a subpoena seeking the testimony of former White House Counsel Donald McGahn as part of his panel's sprawling probe into President Trump's administration, businesses and campaign.
Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) says he believes McGahn is a critical witness who may be able to shed light on cases in which he says President Trump may have sought to obstruct justice.
