IN THE WHITE HOUSE

The Trump campaign chose a controversial date:

President Trump is holding his first campaign rally in three months on June 19 in Tulsa, Oka.

Timing: June 19 is Juneteenth, an annual holiday marking the end of slavery.

Trump said it was not on purpose: Trump was asked by Fox News’s Harris Faulkner if the date was chosen on purpose. “No, but I know exactly what you’re going to say,” Trump said. Trump continued: “Think about it as a celebration. They’re always a celebration. In the history of politics, I think I can say there’s never been any group or any person that’s had rallies like I do.” https://bit.ly/2BY11Fr

OTHER NEWS THIS MORNING

Starbucks will allow it:

Starbucks will now allow employees to wear clothing that supports the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, reversing its decision from earlier this week. https://bit.ly/2AZFE6c

Starbucks said in a statement: "We see you. We hear you. Black Lives Matter. That is a fact and will never change.”

Keep in mind: Starbucks had faced backlash over the initial decision to ban BLM clothing because it "advocated a political, religious or personal issue."
