Trump heaped praise on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who he harshly criticized during the failed ObamaCare repeal effort, and gave a prominent spot near the podium to Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nev.), who’s considered the most vulnerable GOP senator up for reelection next year.
