View in your browser     Cambridge Analytica announces it is shutting down Cambridge Analytica, the political consulting firm at the center of the data scandal that has engulfed Facebook, announced Wednesday that it is shutting down. The British company said in a news release it would be starting bankruptcy proceedings in the U.S. and UK. The company has reportedly been losing clients since it was revealed in March that it had improperly obtained data on 87 million Facebook users.
