At VF the season usually brings with it an outsize portion of Hamptons coverage, seeing as how the easternmost region of New York State so often serves as a stage for parables of power, wealth, and endless froth. Today, Stephanie Krikorian, who's written about the region for years, has a different kind of Hamptons story. She's spent the last several weeks speaking to immigrant workers, their advocates, and their employers in the area to get a sense of the anxiety they've all lived with during the early months of Donald Trump's second term—and what they fear may come after Labor Day.
