The committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol held its latest public hearing on Tuesday, honing in on then-President Trump's direct role in the attempt to override the election results. - Shaye Freeman Moss, a former Georgia election worker who was a target of a conspiracy theory spread by former President Trump and his allies, said Tuesday the allegations against her "turned my life upside down."
- Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) got brought into the 1/6 discussion on Tuesday with testimony that his now chief of staff attempted to give then-Vice President Pence a fake elector slate shortly before the certification of Biden's election. Johnson has denied any role in the scheme.
- "We've got lots of theories, we just don't have the evidence:" That's what Trump adviser Rudy Giuilani told Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers (R) when pressed for proof of his claims of election fraud after the 2020 election, but Giuliani failed to produce any.
