View Online  Here's the age when Americans get the least amount of sleep © iStock By Adam Barnes A new study suggests Americans get less shut eye at age 40 than they do at any other point in their lives. Medical College of Georgia investigators used data from a sample of 11,279 participants aged 6 and older who wore a device on their wrist for 24 hours a day over a period of seven days. Researchers found that nighttime sleep declines with increasing age.   Read the full story here Doctors pull off kidney transplant with no immune-suppressing drugs © The Associated Press/ Evan Vucci By Gianna Melillo For patients who undergo kidney transplants, lifelong immunosuppression via medication is needed to ensure their immune systems do not reject the new organ.
