View Online  More than half of Americans don't know drinking increases risk of colon, rectal cancer © NCI Center for Cancer Research via AP By Alejandra O'Connell-Domenech A new survey from The Ohio State University found that more than half of Americans don't know alcohol consumption can contribute to colorectal cancer. The survey also found that many Americans don't know that diet, obesity and lack of exercise are also risk factors for this type of cancer. While the overall rate of colorectal cancer is declining, rates of the disease are rising among Americans 50 and younger.   Read the full story here California city listed as happiest in new rankings © iStock By Alejandra O'Connell-Domenech A new WalletHub survey looked at the 182 largest cities in the U.S. to see which places are the happiest. The survey found that Fremont, Calif., just outside of San Fransisco, is the happiest city in the U.S. While different things make different people happy, the survey linked Fremont residents' annual income, low divorce rate and low depression rates as contributing factors to the city's happiness level.
