By Samantha Jarpe State agencies in Colorado will be banned from using certain gas-powered lawn equipment during the summer, according to a new rule adopted by the Colorado Air Quality Control Commission. The rule applies from June to August and is designed to reduce pollution. The rule does not impact homeowners on their own property. |

Xolair, the brand name for the drug omalizumab, became the first medication approved to reduce allergic reactions caused by accidental exposure to food triggers. Patients as young as age 1 with allergies can take the drug by injection every two to four weeks, depending on their weight and their body's response to allergens. |
By Joshua Peguero Reports from the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) show inspectors found bed bugs over the last five months at four Las Vegas Strip properties. Those properties include the Encore, the Venetian, the Mirage and the Excalibur. The Nevada Resort Association said, "Unfortunately, these pests can be transported anywhere unwittingly in luggage and clothing. While incredibly rare, when reported our members take swift action in accordance with health and safety requirements." |
