Journalist Bernard Goldberg suspects Donald Trump might be an undercover agent — no, not for Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin, but rather for Joe Biden and the Democrats. | That's because Trump, writes Goldberg, "is doing things no candidate would do if he really wants to win a general election." From threatening "to exile anyone who wouldn't kiss his ring" to needlessly criticizing the way Nikki Haley dresses, Trump is often his own worst enemy. "This raises a question: Is he trying to lose — or what?" "Throwing a temper tantrum isn't the best way to win over Republicans who still aren't sure which way they'll go in November," writes Goldberg. "Joe Biden needs all the help he can get if he's got a shot at winning this time around — and Donald Trump is providing more help than a Republican should." Read the op-ed at TheHill.com. |

By Glenn Altschuler , Thomas and Dorothy Litwin Emeritus Professor of American Studies at Cornell University |
On the campaign trail, Kennedy has belied his image as an anti-establishment straight-shooter with a series of have-it-both-ways assertions on hot-button issues, probably to curry favor with voters across the ideological spectrum. |

By Tom Mockaitis, professor of history at DePaul University |
In its preliminary finding, the International Court of Justice rightly refused to accept a resolution brought by the Republic of South Africa accusing Israel of genocide. The Netanyahu government has used excessive force in Gaza. That may be a war crime but is not genocide. |

By Douglas E. Schoen, Democratic consultant |
As Trump continues to lose in court, the Biden team is sticking to their guns. While Democratic strategists are urging the campaign to get louder and push back against Trump's lies, that just isn't — and has never been — Biden's strategy. |

By Ken Buck, U.S. congressman (R-Colo.) |
Partisan impeachments that do not meet the constitutional standard will boomerang back and hurt Republicans in the future. I can envision a future Republican administration where a Democrat-led House uses this precedent to act against a Republican Cabinet member who isn't discharging their duties in a way that Democrats desire. |
