Thousands and thousands of words have been written on Stanley Tucci’s comforting—but never saccharine—nature. I don’t see any reason to add to that analysis when I can just direct you to Savannah Walsh’s interview with the polymath, which communicates his charm far better than I could. He’s ostensibly promoting his latest movie, a heist film called Masterplan that dropped on Prime Video this weekend. But, as is his wont, he went into so much more during their conversation, from AI to aging to why food in the UK can hold its own against Italian cuisine. Read it and be soothed. We also have some reporting that, while less relaxing than our time with Tucci, is equally satisfying. In Paris, Olivier Bouchara reports on Jordan Bardella, the man dubbed “the French Charlie Kirk.” In Washington, Aidan McLaughlin spends an evening with Fox News anchor Bret Baier. And from deep inside all our darkest fears about Silicon Valley, a double-header: Rebecca Ford reveals all the secrets behind Elizabeth Holmes documentary You Can See Everything, while Hillary Busis and Julia Black debate the merits and foibles of Artificial and The Social Reckoning. |
