(Mountbatten-Windsor has previously denied any wrongdoing.) First came the news of the arrest in Sandringham, where Mountbatten-Windsor has been living after being evicted from Royal Lodge, his former home in Windsor, by King Charles. Then, a statement from the monarch, offering authorities his "full and wholehearted support and cooperation" as the investigation continues.
