Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson says he can no longer support the Republican Party. He questioned how any American “could support a political party that’s not loyal to the United States.”
More from Carlson: “It’s not possible to vote for people like that and I’m not going to,” he said. “I voted Republican my entire life, I worked at Fox News … I’ve been a consistent defender for 35 years of the Republican Party, but there’s no defending this because it’s immoral.”
Is he a Democrat now?: No, he said he doesn’t support the Democratic Party, either, so he doesn’t know what he will do now. But he is insistent that he won’t vote for Republicans in coming elections.
Then, MTG piled on: Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) chimed in to say she is also done supporting the Republican Party.
From Greene: “There is A LOT of us that are absolutely fed up and will not support a party that betrays its voters and country,” she continued. “That does not mean we are turning into Democrats either. But we are DONE with the America LAST Republican Party.”
