Garrett Langley and Paige Todd, who founded the increasingly infamous license-plate-reader company Flock Safety, might disagree. Andrew Zucker recently caught up with the pair for an interview about their business and its AI-enabled cameras, which have recently been savaged in the press thanks to reports about how police officers have used the technology to stalk their past romantic partners. According to Todd, though, cameras don’t stalk people: People stalk people. “I think it’s very rare that someone just wakes up and becomes a stalker because of Flock,” she told Zucker. “I think they probably were before, but now our tool is actually making it very clear that that’s happening.” Elsewhere, Rebecca Ford catches up with Hacks star and Emmy nominee Kaitlin Olson; Maxwell Adler reviews the new Troye Sivan album; and Aidan McLaughlin surveys the potential presidential hopefuls who are (quietly!
